Boma Fund (The)
is committed to working with community organizations in Northern Kenya as an
efficient means of poverty alleviation. From small grants for micro-enterprise
projects to the Christmas ornament beading project by the women’s groups of the
rural villages, BOMA celebrates and supports the important
contributions that these self-help groups make in sustaining the health of
families and communities in rural areas.

The Lwala Community Alliance
an Upper Valley 501c3 that supports village development in Lwala, Kenya. A medical clinic opened in April 2007. Two brothers who graduated from Dartmouth inspired the project. Milton and Fred Ochieng' are featured in a documentary 'Sons of Lwala' and were selected as Persons of the Week on ABC News.

Zienzele Foundation
The foundation works with AIDS orphans and their caregivers to create self-sustaining projects to provide school fees for the orphans and food and clothing for the families the are living in.Educational workshops provide the caregivers as well as the youth the tools to become the HIV/AIDS information resources in their villages in rural ZImbabwe.
