In early April the Developing Country Network along with the Students at Dartmouth for Haiti Relief and the Dartmouth Global Health Coalition hosted an event on Haiti. It was entitled, Haiti: reports from the field and how the Upper Valley might respond.
Ano Lobb, an E-Learning Specialist fromThe Dartmouth Instititute generously filmed the evening so that people who missed it could still capture the talks.
So far he has sent links to a video teleconference call of Richard Garfield from Columbia University, PhD: Haiti & the humanitarian emergency as interviewed on video by Sharon McDonnell. He makes a number of insightful points about reconstruction and what is going on there. It is broken into the following 2 segments:
